Heatwave was made for one very specific purpose: surviving a New York City heatwave.
Originally created for my own personal wear, Heatwave was never meant to be sold. She was my answer to the tropical scent: something lush, humid, sun-dazed, and addictive, but still strange enough to feel like Des Cieux.
 
Tropical scents are often dismissed as basic, and honestly, sometimes fairly. But Heatwave is different. She is my thesis on how a tropical fragrance can feel totally unique in a sea of waxy coconut scents.
 
Over the past year, Heatwave has become a quiet favorite among my custom clients, who often get to smell a whole slew of finished scents during their appointments. Again and again, people asked if I would sneak them a bottle. I kept saying no, until I realized: what is art if not a shared experience?
 
So here she is. My edgy tropic, finally being released into the heat.
